Indian boxer pulls out of torch relay

Vijender Kumar, the Arjuna awardee Indian boxer, has pulled out of the Olympic torch relay to show his support to the pro-Tibet protests, sources told NDTV.

Vijender is one of the five Indian boxers, who will participate at the Beijing Olympics in August.

The Haryana Boxer joins the like of Bhaichung Bhutia, Sachin Tendulkar, Kiran Bedi and Soha Ali Khan, all of whom have pulled out of the relay.
