DHARAMSALA: Exiled Tibetans marched in Dharamsala on Wednesday to protest the killing of fellow countrymen in Lhasa earlier this year. With candles in their hands and prayers on their lips, Buddhist monks and nuns attired in their traditional maroon robes led the procession which kept getting bigger as locals and foreigners joined.

Tsering Norbu, an exiled Tibetan, said his protest was against the suppression of human rights in Tibet. Over 25,000 Tibetans are expected to gather in New Delhi on August 8 to participate in a mass demonstration calling for a boycott of the Beijing Olympics.

Collette, a French tourist who bought a Tibetan flag along with her husband, said she would do what she could to help the cause.
