Taipei: As part of the commemoration of "Fifty Years of Tibetans in Exile", the Tibet Religious Foundation of His Holiness the Dalai Lama is organising a mobile exhibition on Tibet's religion and culture in Taipei and Tainan city in southern Taiwan, from 6 to 28 February. The exhibition is being organised with collaboration with Changhua County government.

A vast collection of pictures on Tibet, ranging from biography of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, democratic reform initiated by Tibetans in exile, preservation and promotion of Tibetan cultural heritage, unique Tibetan religious and cultural artefacts among others, are on display for visitors at Changhua County Yuan  Lin Performance Hall. The venue, which is the country's biggest public gathering place, is famous for its well-stocked library and huge concert hall.  The organisers are expecting for large number of visitors, especially during the weekends.

Changhua County in Taiwan is also best-known for its large statue of Buddha. At 63 meters tall, the seated giant statue is on top of Bagua Mountain, the peak that flanks the city, and can be seen on a clear sky from almost anywhere in the city.

In March this year, the Tibet Religious Foundation in Taiwan plans to organise a film festival on Tibet at Taichung city in co-ordination with the Foundation of Universal Responsibility of His Holiness the Dalai Lama based in Delhi.
