His Holiness the Dalai Lama Leaves for Europe

DHARAMSHALA-- His Holiness the Dalai Lama today left Dharamsala for visits to France, Estonia and Finland.

His Holiness will be in Toulouse, France, where he will give teachings on Kamalashila's The Middling States of Meditation (gomrim barpa) on 13-14 August and a public talk on The Art of Happiness on 15 August. The events are being organised by Chemins de Sagesse. (Click here for detail)

On 17 August, he will visit Tallinn, Estonia, to give a free public talk on 'A Call for Universal Responsibility' in front of the Estonian Liberty Statue at Liberty Square organised by the Estonian Institute of Buddhism.

He will next visit Helsinki, Finland on 20 August. On the same day he will give teachings on Geshe Langri Thangpa's Eight Verses of Training the Mind (lojong tsik gyema) and a public talk on 'The Power of Compassion'at the Barona Theater. The two events are being organised by the Finnish Tibetan Cultural Association. (Click here for detail)
