Dalai Lama arrives in Patna on occasion of Buddha Purnima

Tibetan spiritual Leader Dalai Lama has arrived Patna this afternoon on a two day visit of the state.

He will participate a function to be organised in Patna tomorrow on the occassion of the Budha Purnima. Dalai lama will inaugurate Buddha Smiriti Park .

AIR correspondent reports that the first of its kind park will house a 200 ft . Stupa containing relics from Japan , Thailand , Myanmar and South Korea besides two saplings, one of the Mahabodhi tree and other from Sri Lanka . Several monks of Buddhist countries have arrived Patna to participate this function.
