Andhra CM calls on Dalai Lama

Hyderabad, Dec 18 (PTI)- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah called on Tibetan spiritual guru Dalai Lama here today.

Dalai Lama made a stop-over here on his way to Gulbarga in Karnataka.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah called on the Tibetan spiritual guru at the hotel where he was staying.

The Nobel laureate, later, told reporters that efforts were being made to impart modern education for young Tibetans.

"We seek to carry activities for preservation of Tibet Buddhist culture," he told reporters here.
